Rare one here. Gallagher guitars was started in Tennessee in the 1960's, built guitars for Doc Watson, etc. They are still making high quality instruments today. This one is a Doc Watson model, Mahogany back and sides, Sitka Spruce top. Kind of their base model, I guess.
Looks like some of these photos have been cropped/edited, but the guitar looks to be in good shape.
The headstock on these is super cool. Very recognizable.
Comes with a serious looking case. Ad describes it as a flight case.
Maybe run the serial number by the folks at Gallagher and then go check this one out. Ad says $3,700 OBO so be ready to haggle. These are well known players guitars, and a new one retails for $4,400. Gainesville is about an hour north of Atlanta. Go check it out.
